Dr. Tamara C. Samuelson is a native of Ashland, Kentucky. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky. She then completed a two-year General Practice residency at the UNC School of Dentistry and a one-year fellowship in Hospital Dentistry at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She began her career at the UNC School of Dentistry, where she taught for 14 years. She then transitioned to private practice and has been a dentist in Chapel Hill and the surrounding area since 2005. She lives in Chapel Hill with her husband Allen and their two children.
